Are you interested in sustainable development? Would you like to help us develop the NWT Circular Economy Movement?
We invite you to be a part of the NWT Circular Economy Movement plan, an exciting initiative taking place in Yellowknife.
The project’s purpose is to develop a Circular Economy Movement Label for Yellowknife by collaborating with a range of local stakeholders.
Conseil de développement économique des Territoires du Nord-Ouest (CDETNO) is working with Arete Initiative to deliver this project, which is funded by CanNor.
Through monthly virtual workshops from May to July, key stakeholders from the Yellowknife community will explore how to maximize economic, environmental, and social benefits by joining the Circular Economy Movement for their organization and for Yellowknife.
All workshops will be hosted virtually on Zoom and will run from 10 am until 3 pm MT with a 1-hour break for lunch.
Dates are as follows:
- Workshop #1: Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 (Intrduction to Circular Economy)
- Workshop #2: Thursday, June 10th, 2021 (Community’s Needs and Desire for Circular Economy)
- Workshop #3: Thursday, July 15th, 2021 (Presentation of a Pilot Circular Economy Program)
