In this role, you will perform a range of diagnostic services, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, phlebotomy, specimen processing, x-ray imaging, and electrocardiographs. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results and provide standby coverage on a rotational basis, including evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of radiology and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment to produce quality images for radiologist diagnosis. You should be skilled in handling small samples and repairing delicate instruments, as well as capable of communicating complex procedures in simple, layman’s terms.
To be considered for this role, you must have a successful completion of a certification from an approved Combined Laboratory /X-ray Technologist (CLXT) or Certified Combined Technician (CCT) program.
