Are you a dynamic and visionary leader? If yes, you will be interested in the Superintendent position. You will oversee the educational and administrative direction for two schools serving 260 students and a team of more than 60 employees. With an $8 million budget and a commitment to excellence, you would ensure the delivery of quality K-12 educational programs, out-of-school childcare, and language/culture-based initiatives in alignment with both local and territorial directives.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of business and accountability plans, manage educational programming, and report directly to the Minister and Board. You will also support strategic planning, staff recruitment, and foster strong community relations.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in education administration, leadership, and financial management, with experience in inclusive learning and language/culture-based education. A master's degree in educational administration or education leadership, along with at least 10 years of teaching and 3 years of administrative experience is required. Some teaching or administrative experience in French Minority Language education is an asset.

The Government of the Northwest Territories offers a competitive salary, an annual northern living allowance, a generous defined benefit pension plan, annual leave including the option for deferred leave, and health/dental benefits.
