Crowe MacKay LLP’s Yellowknife office is seeking a qualified full time, Senior Tax Specialist Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a designated accountant, public practice career-focused individual who is excited to join a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial firm wanting to develop their skills in income taxation. This will be a progressive position with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Preparation of tax files
Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
Undertaking tax research with guidance from senior specialists
Undertaking tax projects under supervision of senior specialists
CPA Designation
CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course (Preferred)
3+ years of Tax experience
Familiarity with CaseWare, Microsoft Office and Tax Prep are necessary
Ability to interact with clients, co-workers, Managers and Partners
Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Values teamwork, client/customer service, professionalism, community involvement, personal and professional growth
