Looking for an accounting job in Yellowknife? Our Yellowknife office is seeking a qualified full time, Senior Tax Specialist Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a designated accountant, public practice career-focused individual who is excited to join a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial firm wanting to develop their skills in income taxation. This will be a progressive position with opportunities for professional development and advancement.


  • Preparation of tax files
  • Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Undertaking tax research with guidance from senior specialists
  • Undertaking tax projects under supervision of senior specialists


  • CPA Designation
  • CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of Tax experience
  • Familiarity with CaseWare, Microsoft Office and Tax Prep are necessary
  • Ability to interact with clients, co-workers, Managers and Partners
  • Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Values teamwork, client/customer service, professionalism, community involvement, personal and professional growth
