Youth voice matters!
Are you a youth between the ages of 15-29 and interested in helping youth in your community successfully finish high school, find meaningful employment or go to trades, college or university?
If yes, then you are invited to join the CBYF Youth Council (YC)!
What is CBYF?
The Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF) project is a 5-year project,
implemented by Tamarack Institute in 13 communities, aimed at supporting
youth facing barriers to help them successfully complete high school and transition to trades, post-secondary or employment .
The CBYF-YC will be an opportunity for youth to be involved with the CBYF project
by providing their voice to assist with the co-creation of a community strategy to
support youth facing barriers and helping them to successfully complete high
school and transition to post-secondary or employment.
Youth will meet as needed to discuss their lived experiences, the challenges and barriers they’ve faced, and potential solutions.
Members receive an honorarium for each meeting they attend.
