Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President & Chief Executive Officer “CEO” will have demonstrated experience in organizational leadership and accomplishments in the overall improvement of strategic, financial, human resource and operational performance of a multifaceted organization. While leading a team the President & CEO will achieve Nunasi’s strategic goals and continue to position Nunasi Corporation as a credible and well-known organization throughout the different sectors of activities it operates.
A highly skilled and established leader, the ideal candidate has at least 10 years’ significant business experience at a managerial level. Preferably, you will have hands-on experience developing and implementing high level strategic plans, and a Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, finance or a related field. As a results-oriented professional, you will have demonstrated experience leading and building a high-preforming team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders including board of directors, senior level management, internal and external partners, territorial and federal government.
The President and CEO will require a flexible schedule with a willingness to travel within the territory of Nunavut and outside of the territory as business needs require. Prior knowledge of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and Fluency in Inuktitut is an asset.
