The Yellowknife office has a vibrant and dynamic environment with excellent opportunities for professional growth. We are a multidiscipline team working across the North in multiple sectors for a variety of clients. Our projects vary in size ranging from small commercial developments to light industrial, government, community and private sector facilities.
We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in Architecture and Design to join our team and advance their career. The length of this role is dependent on the successful candidate's desired length of term/school needs and could range from 2 to 8 months.
Your Key Responsibilities
Interns will be encouraged to develop their design skills while supporting our team with existing conditions analysis, concept design, design charrettes, construction documentation, project presentation graphics, and construction administration assistance.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about design
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- The ability to work with others, as well as independently
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Rhino or Sketch-up, and Adobe programs is essential
- Applicants should be a current student or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Architecture program
